Our most recent public meeting was on Thursday 19 November 2020.
Lee Dance, Head of Water Resources at South East Water, described
the River Ouse water supply transfer between Ardingly Reservoir and
the Barcombe Reservoirs and water treatment works.

Ardingly is catchment fed but is also topped-up during the winter
by pumping from the River (subject to sufficient flow).
The stored water is released during the summer (or periods of low-flow in general)
to give a steady base-flow to be abstracted at Barcombe.

Due to Covid-19 this meeting was held online using Zoom starting a 7:30 pm. so that people could attend without any travelling! Please email for the necessary link to a recording of the meeting.
